Do you really need a baby memory book?
The answer above is a resounding YES. One day, not very far from today, you will want to take a trip down memory lane. When your little bundle of joy grows up and leaves home to lead its own life, you will want something that will relive those past days. You may now think that with so many “physical” memories it will be a tough proposition to put everything inside a baby book. Yes, that’s true. But not creating one may make you feel sad later.
If time is a constraint, a good idea is to ask a willing relative (perhaps your child’s grandmother) to help you create a baby book. While the helper does all the manual work to be done, you give him or her your own ideas. Later, when you have enough time on your hands, you can take authority of the book and start maintaining it yourself.
There are so many things you will want your baby memory book to store; its baby’s first tooth, its first shoe, its first painting, its first craft, its first cap. etc. You will also want to record its first syllable, photos of its birthdays, potty training, etc. There are just so many things that are awesome about your child. It would be criminal not to preserve those memories.
These days, readymade baby memory books are available. If you want to make a scrapbook yourself, keep some time aside every week or so when you can do it. Have fun!
