Why each baby deserves a baby memory book?

The joy of holding your baby in your own hands for the first time can be truly overwhelming. You want to look at it, you want to hold it, you want to take care of it and you want to just be there for it all your life. You click photographs of it at every opportunity and you shoot videos with your hand- held camcorder. It still feels less. Your baby is just too awesome! A great way to preserve memories of your baby and its growing- up years is to create and maintain a baby memory book.

Why do you need a book to remember your baby? Well, because it’s going to grow up. When it leaves your nest and goes away to college and lead its own life, you are going to wish you had more memories of it than photographs. A baby memory book is going to be just the right thing during that time. Not only will it be filled with photographs of your kid, it will also have stuck to it your baby’s first shoe, its first tooth, its first cap and its first cute little onesie. You are going to love reliving those golden memories.

A baby memory book is going to make your child feel special. When she grows up, the fact that you spent so much time to create and maintain the book is going to mean a lot to her.

Do have a memory book for each of your children. They are going to love you for it!

Baby memory books: Preserve the memories of your child’s golden childhood

Aren’t babies just stinking cute? After parenting each of our six children till the time they went off to college, I have come to the conclusion that instead of parents molding their children; it is just the other way around. Having babies and bringing them up is supposed to be a fun thing to do but in today’s world, where all that kids eat is fast food and all that they play with are motion- sensor gaming devices that cost the earth, I am glad that I brought up my kids during a much more peaceful era. I do however wish that I had maintained a baby memory book for each of them just as most parents these days do. What a collection that would have made.

Bringing up children is not an easy matter. From changing diapers to getting all of them potty-trained and dealing with boyfriends of teenaged daughters- it’s definitely not an easy ride. At times, parents forget how amazing their kids really are! I did too!

I really wish that I and my wife had maintained a baby memory book for each of our children. We could have preserved photos, their first shoe, their first mop of hair that had been cut, their first cap, etc. It would really be fun to go through the book now when our children have gone off to lead their own lives. If you are a new parent, do create a baby memory book for your child. I have heard that it’s a whole lot of fun to do and relives memories of a golden age.

Baby memory books are great keepsakes

Baby memory books are great keepsakes of your baby. A lot of mothers these days like to maintain a baby memory book where they retain stuff about their babies that will act as a memory when they grow up. If you are a new mother, keeping a baby memory book can be fun. As you must have expected, there are several different kinds of baby memory books available.

The small semi- soft cover photo album types are quite popular. They will let you store snap shots of your child every month. In these, you can also keep mementos of your child, like its first curls, its scalp cap, hair ribbons or bows, a squashed bootie, etc. These typically come with a soft cover.

The next popular variety is the hard- covered larger baby memory books. Not only can you store your baby’s photos in these, you can also fill out the answers to questions relating to your baby in them. It is a lot of fun to do and will serve as a wonderful hobby for parents.

Parents have been known to store much more than their baby’s photos in baby memory books. Following are other popular items that make their way into such scrapbooks.
